MID-CENTURY MODERN INSPIRED, DESIGN-FORWARD BUILDING COMPANY

The arrival of many prominent members of the Bauhaus school to New England following WW2 brought design principles and aesthetics to the US and particularly Cape Cod which yielded a very special formula for small homes. These homes replaced the traditional design vernacular of New England homes with a radical new approach to the use of space and materials optimized around the experience of the occupant. They reimagined the applications of conventional materials to produce simple shapes and structures that bring in ample light and sense of volume all built into the landscape. 

We have applied this approach of using currently conventional materials in an unconventional method to optimize and simplify our building process. This allows us to efficiently produce a high performance home envelope which is both highly efficient and lends to a uniquely comfortable and stylized space.
